SLH Group is currently seeking experienced Hoist Operators for an ongoing placement on a major residential and commercial development in the heart of Newcastle CBD. This is a relief Hoist Operator role, meaning when you're not on the hoist, you're contributing to the site as a general labourer. We need someone who is adaptable, reliable, and happy to get involved wherever the site needs them. If you take pride in operating safely and efficiently Duties Include: Safe and efficient operation of personnel and material hoists across the site Conducting daily pre-start checks and maintaining hoist cleanliness, safety, and compliance Coordinating lifts with site supervisors and trades to keep the project running smoothly Assisting with deliveries and material movement across site levels General site labouring and hands-on assistance to trades during non-hoist periods Upholding site safety standards and contributing to a compliant, productive work environment Requirements: Current HRW - Hoist Operator Ticket (HP) White Card Proven site experience – ideally on large residential or mixed-use builds Physically fit and willing to perform labouring duties prior to hoist operation Strong safety awareness and reliability If you're interested in this role, click 'Apply Now' to submit your updated CV or contact us for a confidential discussion.
